Artist and scientist, Leanne Venier, has been invited to be a conference speaker at the MENSA 2013 Annual Gathering and will be bringing Light Therapy Options products with her to help to illustrate the benefits of red and infrared light therapy.
Leanne Venier, BSME, CP AOBTA, uses her paintings to help her to further explore the human psyche and express concepts and ideas that simply cannot be accurately represented using words. She works to use her canvas to share the “natural creative energy that is shared by and connects all living things.”* In this way, her pieces are not only pleasing to the eye, but they also contain a nourishing and enriching quality from their colors. This benefit is transferred to the viewers of her paintings. Instead of using naturalistic symbols and imagery, Venier uses her art to allow pure creative energy to flow out through herself to be expressed through her paint. She has likened the visual experience of her art to the feeling of listening to music.
At the MENSA 2013 Annual Gathering, a five day event that draws 2,000 members and their guests from around the world, Venier will be speaking about color and light therapy. Her presentation, “From Photons to Biophotons: Art, Color & Light Therapy for Health and Healing”, will occur on Saturday, July 6, from 1:30pm to 2:45 pm.
Venier has chosen Light Therapy Options products to help demonstrate the concepts in her presentation. Specifically, she has chosen the Genesis DH for red and infrared light therapy, as well as the Peak 630, Peak 465, and Peak 415 LED Light Therapy Sets. She will be using these lights in combination with samples of her own artwork, which will be on display for experiential purposes of healing art and color.
